In Search Of The Butterfly:  This body of work was created between 1994 and 1996.  It was influenced by
the work of James McNeil Whistler.  The female nude figures are alternative silver prints hand printed on Rives
BFK 280 lbs paper.  An abstract monotype in earth tones and gold ink was then printed over the silver prints.
Last, automatic drawing techniques were incorporated into the overall composition.  This body of work was first
exhibited through Artsites '96 at The District of Columbia Arts Center.  Several of these images were also shown
at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC on video.  They have also been exhibited  at The Museum of
Contemporary Art in Washington,DC.  In 1997 these images were exhibited in New York City.
